1. Introduction

These Subscription Terms (“Terms”) govern the free trial and all subscription plans for HilandSEO. HilandSEO is automated AI SEO software provided by HilandSEO Technology Limited (海藍得科技有限公司), a private company limited by shares incorporated in Hong Kong (Company/Business Registration No. 79642742) (“HilandSEO”, “Company”, “we”, “us” or “our”). It is available through our website at https://hilandseo.com and our web app at https://ai.hilandseo.com (together, the “platform”). By creating an account, activating a free trial or purchasing a subscription, you (“User”, “you” or “your”) confirm that you have read and understood these Terms and agree to be bound by them.

Please read these Terms together with our Terms of Service, Privacy Policy, Refund & Cancellation Policy and Intellectual Property Rights policy.

2. Free Trial

2.1 Trial Eligibility

Every new user who registers an account on the platform gets a free trial with 50 credits. You do not need a payment card to start it. Each individual or organization may use one (1) free trial only. Creating duplicate accounts to get more free trials breaches these Terms and may lead to account termination.

2.2 Free Trial Credits

When you register an account, we add fifty (50) free credits to it, valid for fourteen (14) days. You can use these credits on platform features including, but not limited to, AI-generated article creation, on-page SEO optimization, meta tag optimization, internal linking suggestions, blog automation, article rewriting, YouTube-to-blog conversion and news writing.

A blog post or page of up to 3,000 words, research included, uses ten (10) credits; each AI image uses three (3); an article update uses five (5); a keyword opportunities search uses five (5), and each website’s first search is free. Work that fails uses no credits. Credits are non-transferable and may not be sold, exchanged or given to other accounts.

2.3 No Automatic Charges After Free Trial

HilandSEO does not charge you automatically when your free trial ends. Once your 50 free credits are used up or expire, your account reverts to inactive free-tier status. From that point we collect no payment and start no subscription, and we do not charge any payment method unless you take explicit, affirmative action.

To keep using HilandSEO after the free trial, you must choose and buy a paid plan yourself through your account dashboard. That means selecting a plan, entering or confirming your payment details at checkout, and explicitly confirming the first payment.

HilandSEO will never start a charge, one-off or recurring, without your clear and informed consent. Buying a paid plan is your agreement to the recurring monthly or yearly charges described in Sections 3 and 4 until you cancel. You will see the price and any applicable taxes before you confirm a payment.

2.4 Trial Emails

We may send you service emails about your free trial and your account, for example a welcome email when you sign up. These emails are for information only. The end of the free trial never triggers a charge.

3. Paid Subscription Plans

3.1 Available Plans

At any time, including during the free trial, you may subscribe to one of the following paid plans. Prices are set in US dollars (USD). You can pay monthly, or yearly at ten (10) times the monthly price.

Starter Plan: US$29 per month or US$290 per year. Includes 300 credits a month and 1 website (WordPress or Shopify).

Growth Plan: US$79 per month or US$790 per year. Includes 1,000 credits a month and 5 websites.

Pro Plan: US$199 per month or US$1,990 per year. Includes 3,000 credits a month and 20 websites.

All plans include keyword opportunities, AutoBlog scheduling, publishing to WordPress and Shopify, and Search Console results, with email support. Custom plans for larger volumes are quoted on request.

Extra credit packs are sold separately as one-time purchases: 250 credits for US$25, 1,000 credits for US$90 and 3,000 credits for US$240. Extra credits do not expire and are used after your plan’s monthly credits.

3.2 Billing Cycle

Paid subscriptions are billed monthly or yearly, as you choose at checkout. Your billing cycle starts on the date of your first successful payment and renews automatically at the end of each cycle until you cancel.

Your plan and its monthly credits are activated in your HilandSEO account as soon as your payment succeeds. Nothing is shipped.

3.3 Payment, Merchant of Record and Taxes

Purchases made through our checkout are Sold through Link. Sold through Link, LLC (“Link”), a Stripe affiliate, is the merchant of record: it collects your payment and any applicable taxes. HilandSEO provides the platform and remains responsible for it. Your purchase is also subject to the Link terms.

Charges appear on your card or bank statement as LINK.COM* HILANDSEO or similar. Link emails your receipts, invoices and any refund confirmations.

Where they apply, Link calculates and collects VAT, GST, sales tax or similar taxes at checkout. You will see the total before you pay.

Prices are set in US dollars (USD). At checkout, Link may offer to charge you in your local currency at an exchange rate that includes a markup. Paying in your local currency is optional, and you can choose to pay in USD. If you pay a subscription in your local currency, the amount can vary from month to month with the exchange rate. Your card issuer may charge its own fees.

You can pay with any payment method offered at checkout. HilandSEO does not receive or store your full card number.

If you have a question about a charge, a receipt or a payment method, you can contact Link support. For questions about the HilandSEO product, your account or your credits, email support@hilandseo.com.

3.4 Price Changes

HilandSEO may change subscription prices by giving active subscribers at least thirty (30) days’ written notice in advance. A new price takes effect at the start of the first billing cycle after the notice period. If you do not want to continue at the new price, you can cancel under Section 5.1 before it takes effect.

4. Subscription Renewal & Auto-Renewal

4.1 Automatic Renewal of Paid Plans

Paid subscription plans renew automatically at the end of each billing cycle, monthly or yearly, unless you cancel before the renewal date. At each renewal, Link charges the price for that period that applies at that time. Auto-renewal applies only to paid subscriptions you have explicitly purchased. As stated in Section 2.3, the free trial does not auto-renew and does not turn into a paid subscription automatically.

5. Cancellation & Refund Policy

5.1 How to Cancel

You may cancel your paid subscription at any time in any of these ways:

  • In the account or billing settings of the app at https://ai.hilandseo.com.
  • In your Link account at link.com. If you checked out as a guest, create a Link account with the same email address to see your order. You can also ask Link support.
  • By emailing support@hilandseo.com from the email address on your account. We confirm email cancellation requests within 48 hours.

There is no cancellation fee.

5.2 Effect of Cancellation

After you cancel, your paid subscription benefits stay active until the end of the current billing period you have already paid for. From that date, your account reverts to inactive free-tier status, and you lose access to paid features and any unused plan credits. Credits from extra credit packs stay in your account. Cancelling stops future renewals. It does not refund the current billing period on its own; see Section 5.3.

5.3 Refund Policy

If you ask for a refund within seven (7) days of a subscription charge, we will refund that charge in full. This applies to your first payment and to every renewal. When we refund a charge, we also cancel the subscription, so you will not be charged again, and your account reverts to free-tier status.

Once seven (7) days have passed since a charge, the current billing period is non-refundable. You can still cancel at any time under Section 5.1 to stop future renewals. Your access continues until the end of the period you have paid for. This does not affect refunds that Link may issue under the Sold through Link refund policy (for example, within 60 days for unauthorized or duplicate charges), or your 14-day cooling-off right if you are a consumer in the EU or UK.

To request a refund, email support@hilandseo.com from the email address on your account and give the date and amount of the charge. If you were charged without authorization, charged twice, or did not receive access to what you paid for, you can also ask Link for a refund within 60 days by following Link’s refund instructions. If you contact Link about a HilandSEO charge within 7 days and Link refers you to us, we will treat your request as made on time.

Refunds are made through Link to your original payment method and usually appear within 3–7 business days of being issued. Our Refund & Cancellation Policy gives full details.

Nothing in these Terms limits any rights you have under the Sold through Link refund policy or under applicable consumer protection law.

Free Trial: The free trial is never charged, so there is nothing to refund.

6. Credit Allocation & Usage

6.1 Monthly Credit Reset

Plan credits are added at the start of each month of your plan, yearly plans included. Plan credits you do not use in one month do not roll over to the next, unless a custom agreement says otherwise. Credits from extra credit packs do not expire and are used after plan credits.

6.2 Overage

If you use up your monthly credits before the month ends, you can upgrade or buy extra credits at any time. HilandSEO does not charge overage fees. Instead, new work does not start until your credits renew, you upgrade or you add extra credits.

6.3 Credit Tracking

You can see your real-time credit balance, usage history and next renewal date at any time in your account dashboard.

7. Account Suspension & Termination

HilandSEO may suspend or terminate any user account that breaches these Subscription Terms or our Terms of Service, including the acceptable use rules in the Terms of Service. If we terminate an account because of such a breach, we do not have to refund the rest of the current billing period. This does not affect a refund requested within the 7-day window in Section 5.3, or any rights you have under the Sold through Link refund policy or applicable consumer protection law.

8. Modifications to These Terms

HilandSEO may update or modify these Subscription Terms at any time. We will email you about material changes at least fifteen (15) days before they take effect. If you keep using the platform after that date, you accept the revised Terms. If you do not agree with the changes, you can cancel your subscription under Section 5.1 before they take effect.

9. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Hong Kong. Before starting any proceedings, please email support@hilandseo.com so we can try to resolve the matter in good faith. This section does not remove any mandatory consumer protection rights you have under the law of the country where you live.
